The Interrupted SORIPAH: What is wrong with kids nowdays? I think the word kid suits her best since 'saya baru 20 tahun'. I am married to a sasterwan's son, I have yet to finish any of his lagendary work, I even communicate in English with father in-law, yet, I have never appologize or justify myself why I am not communicating in Bahasa Melayu. My Bahasa Melayu is a bit kasar, brutal utara or perak dialect, and that is why I seldom speak Malay especially with the expert.
Some people said that we shouldn't be angry with this Soripah, people made mistake. Yup! BUT... if we don't tell her our dissaproval, she will never learn her lesson. I don't think rakyat Malaysia will punish her if she speak broken Bahasa Melayu, or just excuse herself and continue talking in English. Malaysian are very forgiving and they will forgive you, Soripah, but its quite difficult if you did it the way you did.
I mean I dont think it was a 'melatah' situation. Even tho I have never walked on the red carpet, never received any award, I know for the fact, that everybody who was nominated, must have prepared their speech while at the boutique, doing their glamorous cinderrela gown fitting. So don't tell me you 'melatah' because you have received award before, and I know for the fact that you were prepared! Soripah, I would advice you to be like these Agalychnis Callydryas or very well known as Leaf Frog! I think people respect them more because they have the ability to blend with a leaf on which it sits. Perhaps nobody will notice your mistake if the event was at The Actor Studio!
Daddy SLAUGHTER 3 year old daughter: I don't want to say much about that incident but if any of those parents who are thinking of slaughtering or throwing their babies in the dustbin, please call me up and I will be there ASAP. Some people had to pay thousands of ringgit just to get pregnant and you bastard out there just...
enough of sad story. Lets talk about me, I mean this is my blog and I brag if I want to...hehe
Throw Habit: It has been ages since we eat at the favourite pancake house (my mum tanya, tu pancake lagu hak America ka depa buat macam Melayu? I said: America la mummy. Mum: Ish halal ka...jom bawak mummy jom!) So this morning, me and himself,
had our brunch there, again, our 40th visit I guess. Anyway, after brunch, we met my cousins at Cold Storage and we 'melepas rindu' playing with our princess, Sarah. She is now 4++ and extremelly adorable.(my mum always think that all her cucu are cuter than other people's cucu!) Oh yeah, Sarah asked himself to carry her, and being such caring, loving niece (she adoresssssssssss her uncle himself) she asked, "Uncle, kenapa gigi uncle tekuarrrr?" erk. Now that she got a closer look at himself's pairs of taring, she just got to ask. KENAPA GIGI UNCLE TEKUARR? "oh uncle ni dracula," replied himself. "Ohhh uncle draculalala?" She is adorable, isn't she?
Alamak, almost lupa. The main idea of this story. So on our way back to the Curve, I told himself that I feel like wearing earings. (I dont think he has ever seen me using earing since we first met 5 years ago). So I wanted to buy the 3 for rm10 earings but he insist that I buy something more expensive so I appreciate it more. (ye la.. i like to sepah2 my precious belongings). So we went to Guess and taraaa... I am a proud owner of 'subang labuh' bak kata orang uthara. Happy-happy joy-joy I went home, and being me who are always excited about purchasing thing without checking it first, I discovered that one stone was missing. Haaaa dah kena patah balik and change the subang. But again, its worth it. I really like the earings. But again, me?, earings?, buang tebiat kan?
Sharifah Aini: If you notice in that picture, up there, I have very straight hair, extremelly soft, licin and very sejemput. If I tie my hair, I will look like Patrick. (Patrick is my good friend from work, and he is bald!) So while having drinks with himself just now I popup a question, "Yang boleh tak I perm my hair? Baru nampak banyak. I tak pernah tukaq pesen since 1972 u tau dak?" His answer? "Kalau I nak pompuan rambut kembang, I tak ngorat u dulu. Baik I mengorat Soripah Aini." so... END OF DISCUSSION!!!
p/s: My Sunday misi: Tomorrow I am going to break my weekend habit of hybernating at home and join a very dear friend who is suffering domestic disorderly, shop for new cloth. I hope I can somehow cheer her up a bit because I havent been a good friend who has been clueless not knowing what to advice her with her problem.
pp/s Thanks Marzie for that lovely early birthday present.
I like very much. Its already on my work station. No need to wait until I work fulltime at home. Now also I like it there...
